About Us

I have been writing poetry and practicing photography for over twenty years for family and friends. After retiring from nursing, a career that spanned over forty years, I found the need for something more to fill the emotional gap I found myself in. Watercolor classes filled that gap, and there began my greeting card saga. Recently the decision was made to produce my cards for the public, and my involvement with the California Native Plant Society in Sacramento has given me an abundance of subjects to paint and photograph.

In 2007 I received an award from The International Society of Poets for a poem entitled The Elder, and several poems have been published in various anthologies. My next step will be to incorporate my poetry into greeting cards.

I have lived in Sacramento, CA for over ten years and enjoy the farming communities not far from the city. And my Yorkshire Terrier, Oscar, is always happy to have company.
